Taking Care of Troop and Patrol Equipment During a Campout
Taking Care of Troop and Patrol Equipment After a Campout
Scouts are required to take troop gear home after camp-outs to dry and/or clean, thus preventing mildew. This could can be a tent, a dining fly, or P-Box (Patrol Kitchen Gear).
The Patrol Leader assigns this duty at the end of the campout. For example, one Scout from Patrol might be assigned to dry out the tent, another Scout to dry out the dining fly, and a third Scout to clean and dry the P-Box.
Questions?
Ask the Scout who is serving as the Troop Quartermaster.
You can also ask our adult equipment coordinator, Assistant
Scoutmaster Mr. Kim Davies.
