Philmont Training Center Each summer, the Philmont Training Center offers weeklong courses that cover every aspect of the BSA's program. This is simply a fantastic learning experience.

Boy Scout Wood Badge

Wood Badge for the 21st Century is designed for all leaders in our traditional programs and districts. It teaches leadership skills. To attend, leaders must be trained according to the standards of their specific Scouting positions. Wood Badge is held on two weekends. You must attend BOTH weekends. Training isoffered through Des Plaines Valley Council. Schedule is on website.
